How Tre’dish is Changing Lives

How Tre’dish Has Impacted Chef Dani and Chef Che

Chef Dani

Chef Dani was attending culinary school and working at a restaurant when the Covid-19 pandemic struck. 

“I walk into work one day and it’s pitch black, the lights are off, the kitchens are off and nothing is running. You don’t know what to do.”

Due to the thousands of unemployed hospitality workers facing the same harsh reality, finding another traditional restaurant job was near impossible.

“It takes your world and flips it upside-down. You lose a lot of momentum doing that. I didn’t know where or what was going to happen next. Then Tre’dish came along and filled in the blanks.”

Chef Che

Chef Che knew he was meant to be a chef after his first day at culinary school. After graduating, he describes working at a restaurant came with a lot of sacrifices, the biggest one being away from his family. 

“I’m here to make a name for myself, but that name came at a cost. The sacrifice that I made to be away from my family. All the places and all the validations and credits … nothing meant more to me than being at home with my family”

Shortly after learning about California’s MEHKO legislation, he decided to become a home chef and embark on this journey alongside his wife Sarah. Together this power couple started El Jefe Cuisine.

“Nobody else is on the level that I feel Tre’dish is bringing it to. I felt that not only are they growing but, who else is growing with them. We are [chefs].”
